• 🕊️ Retired Major General Faleh bin Mohammed Al-Dhahri passed away at the age of 86, bringing renewed attention to his long career serving the Kingdom.

⚠️ Riyadh Public Transport has renewed its warning against using private vehicles to carry passengers for money without the required licence.

• 🚗 What Is “Kaddadah”? It includes transporting passengers for payment in a private vehicle without a licence.

• 🗣️ Calling out to passengers, approaching them or waiting for them in busy gathering areas can also be considered a violation.

• 💸 Unlicensed Passenger Transport:

  • Fine of up to SAR 20,000

  • Vehicle impounded for up to 60 days

• 🚫 Soliciting Passengers:

  • Repeat fines can reach SAR 11,000

  • Vehicle impounded for up to 25 days

• 🚕 Passengers are encouraged to use licensed taxis, approved ride-hailing apps, buses or the Riyadh Metro.
