🛂 Contactless Airport Travel: Jawazat showcased a new electronic gate that allows travellers to pass through by simply holding a palm above a reader.
✋🏼 How It Works:
The system scans the traveller’s palm without physical contact.
It then verifies the traveller’s identity automatically and opens the gate.
No physical travel document or fingerprint scan is required during the process.
📍 Where It Was Revealed: The technology was demonstrated at the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
⏳ Current Status: A public rollout date has not yet been announced, so the gates are not available at every Saudi airport just yet.

🧠 Khalid was introduced at LEAP 2026 as the youngest AI engineer.
🤖 What He Created:
Khalid built an AI Crew, an AI product designed to act as a virtual co-worker.
It supports teams across HR, finance and customer service.
The tool can screen CVs, schedule interviews, process invoices and detect errors.
🚀 Khalid originally developed the idea as part of his own startup.
🇸🇦 His story shows how quickly young Saudi talent is moving into major roles within AI and technology.

🕊️ Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Juwaid, known as Abu Mohammed, passed away on the night of his daughter’s wedding celebration in Riyadh.
🏥 What Happened:
Abdulrahman suddenly became unwell inside the wedding hall on Tuesday night.
He was taken to hospital for medical care, but his condition deteriorated and he passed away later that night.
⚠️ Some social media posts described the emergency as a cardiac arrest, but the exact medical cause has not been officially confirmed.
💭 Relatives, friends and members of the community described Abdulrahman as a kind, humble and generous man whose positive impact would not be forgotten.

🏠 HRH Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Hail Region, visited the family home and offered his condolences to Abdulkarim’s father, grandfather and relatives.
