🇸🇦🇸🇾 A Major Meeting in Riyadh
HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received His Excellency Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa in Riyadh on Tuesday, 6 October.
🤝 The leaders reviewed relations between Saudi and Syria, opportunities to strengthen cooperation, and the latest regional developments.
✈️ President Al-Sharaa travelled with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani.
🏛️ HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, received the President at King Khalid International Airport alongside senior officials and diplomatic representatives.

The Ministry of Health reported a 30% increase in ICU admissions linked to respiratory infections over the past three weeks, compared with the preceding period.
📊 The increase concerns ICU admissions associated with respiratory infections, rather than all respiratory infections.
🍂 The Ministry described the rise as part of the expected seasonal increase in respiratory virus activity.
